Hot Jezebel Dip
Ingredients:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup apricot or pineapple preserves
- 2-3 tablespoons horseradish (adjust to taste)
- 2-3 tablespoons hot pepper jelly (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and fruit preserves. Mix until well combined.
- Add horseradish and hot pepper jelly to the mixture. The amount you use will depend on how spicy you want the dip to be. Start with 2 tablespoons of each and adjust to taste.
- If you like some crunch and texture in your dip, fold in the chopped pecans.
- Taste the dip and adjust the flavors as needed by adding more horseradish, hot pepper jelly, or fruit preserves to achieve the desired balance of sweet and spicy.
- Refrigerate the dip for at least an hour before serving. This will allow the flavors to meld together.
- Serve the Hot Jezebel Dip with crackers, chips, or fresh vegetable sticks. It’s a delicious and unique dip that combines the sweetness of fruit preserves with the heat of horseradish and pepper jelly.
Feel free to customize this recipe to suit your taste preferences. You can make it milder or spicier by adjusting the horseradish and hot pepper jelly. Enjoy!
