Ultramel scones
INGREDIENTS:
8 cups flour
250g margarine
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup oil
7 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon bicarb
2 cups sour milk
1 cup ultramel
2 eggs
Pinch salt
METHOD:
Sift dry ingredients together and rub in margarine. Must be cold margarine
Combine wet ingredients and add to dry ingredients
Knead together. Not too much. Roll out and rub with milk ore egg and bake at 180 till golden brown.
Using custard powder in the video so you can see that one can use ultramel or the powder
